The MEF awards two $1,500 scholarships to high school graduates living in the San Jacinto Valley who are pursuing music as a major at an institution of higher learning.

The online form has several interview questions and an area for applicants to upload two letters of reference.

 

Letters of reference must be: 

• from a music or voice teacher

• from a person who knows the student's musical background, involvement and accomplishments. 

 

Please note that letters of reference cannot be from a family member.

The application period is March 134, 2026 through April 10, 2026.
